Ghana added to the new countries to host Reggae sumfest

Reggae Sumfest is a vibrant  celebration of reggae music and culture that takes place annually in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Festival  known for its electrifying performances,  features both local and international artistes in the reggae and dancehall music scene.  The festival  is a seven (7) day  event with various activities  . This years festival was hosted from 14-20th July and was  kick started with  Sumfest family fun day  and  climaxed with  a music festival from topnotch and seasoned reggae and dancehall artiste like Lauryn Hill, Capleton, Anthony B, Turbulence and other cream of the crop artistes. https://reggaesumfest.com/

In an interview on the Truth is Real podcast, the CEO of  Down Sound Records and Reggae Sumfest,  Joe Bogdanovich expressed his love for music and urged  artistes to  elevate themselves to meet international standards  when it comes to performances and music business. He cited Reggae Sumfest as one of the biggest platforms to showcase their talents and get the messages in the music to the audience.

The CEO when asked if he has intentions to expand the festival to other countries said they are currently negotiating a deal to host the festival in Brazil next year and they have also been considering hosting it in Ghana as well since a lot of people  from Ghana are reaching out to them.
